I'm trying to launch the modpack (version 1.0.6), so what version of MC do I need? Do I need to downgrade to 1.3? thanks!

The launcher downloads the minecraft version it needs all by itself, currently it's using version 1.4.2 for the FTBBETAA pack and 1.2.5 for the old FTB map
