Using the FTB Lite pack as a base for a private mod pack.

Hey,

I used to run a server for me and my friends on the FTB Beta pack and the server was already lagging quite a bit.. Right now I'm looking towards restarting and using the FTB Lite pack but I am missing the enderstorage mod. Rather then trying to get it into the main FTB Lite pack I think it's easier to just create a private pack (and maybe some other mods as well)

Is there a easy way to do this or do I have to start from the ground up?

You could probably just copy it from another FTB pack.

On this topic, what are people's favorite private pack distrubution methods? Is there any easy way without goign through a bunch of hoops to create a complete client package that easily downloadable and executed? Forgive me for mentioning this, but has anyone done something crazy and used like the Tekkit launcher for such functionality? (Using whatever as a base mod pack?)....or something with similar functionality. This would be for private only (like amongst friends, not some big distribution))
