Using Razer Gamebooster with FTB?

I'd like to record playing FTB with Direwolf20's mod pack, but since FTB doesn't have an .exe to just launch the game with the mods as far as I can tell, how do I do this if anybody knows?

I know, but it launches the FTB launcher, and then Gamebooster thinks THAT's the game so it does nothing. Then when I launch MC through it it doesn't hook the program into it, so I can't record.

The program is still in beta as far as I know, might be worth telling Razer about the problem.

Use the keyboard shortcuts to manually boost and unboost
To boost: ctrl - alt - B
To unboost: ctrl - alt - R
These are defaults. If you don't like them change them in settings.

You probably need to assign java.exe, that's the actually the executable.

Okay... not sure how to do this then since I can't just click n' drag java into gamebooster or something and have it hook. Anyone have any ideas?

In the launcher, you can click on the Options tab, then the Advanced Options button, and you should be able to put in a command to get it to run with Gamebooster in the Additional Java Parameters line. I don't use parameters often enough to tell you what you'd need to put there though.

As far as how to make it work within Gamebooster, that's something you'd want to inquire about through Razer's site. I have a Razer mouse but I don't know anything about Gamebooster. We've told you what executable you need to hook, now go through the appropriate channels to learn how to hook it.

To be perfectly honest, this razer thing is pretty much useless, unless your pc is totally struggling to run a game. All it can do for MC is freeing RAM, not much else.

Again, use the keyboard shortcuts shown in your settings. Game booster is also very powerful if you tell it to close explorer.exe because it uses lots of your system. My laptop used to play ftb with 8 Fps, with game booster it runs at 35 Fps.

Well, games like Skyrim have launchers, but Razer Gamebooster recognizes the game itself and does boost Skyrim. So I'm not sure why FTB Monster won't work

In my opinion I would suggest you to not use the gamebooster thingy dingy. To me all it did was adding extra complexity. And if you are already running a low-end pc, another fancy launcher running in the background which is supposed to help with your fps would probably have the recerted effect. Atleast it did on my old pc.
