I can happily play the FTB Unleashed pack for a few minutes before it suddenly uses 100% of my memory. Closing the application reduces it down to about 50% memory usage (from using Firefox), and the CPU usage goes from 60% to 10-20%.
The only other application open is Firefox.
Any ideas?
P.S.- I have used Optifine but it made no difference and I have allocated the maximum amount of RAM (2.5gb). All settings are to allow maximum frame rate; short render distance, smooth lighting off, etc.
