Solved Updating MindCrack server from 8.1.1 to 8.2

Can anyone walk me through the steps to do this? I have ran servers for awhile now but never updated a server. It's an already built server with multiple worlds, tens of plugins, user files and everything like that.
 
Stop typing that long guide all of you have been typing for days! I have figured it out on my own and easily updated my server.

I'll post a how-to just in case anyone finds this topic in a search for the same answers.

In your server root there is 3 files and 3 folders.

config
coremods
mods
ftbserver.jar (!If you use MultiCraft, this might be named minecraft_server.jar)
ServerStart.bat
ServerStart.sh

1. First thing you do is BACKUP YOUR SERVER! I had no problems but user errors happen a lot.
2. Shut down your server.
3. Delete all 6 of these things from your server.
4. Download the latest MindCrack server files from the ftb site.
5. Unzip the server folder and it will have the same 6 things you deleted, only updated with 8.2 stuff.
6. Copy all 6 things into your server root directory. (REMEMBER IF YOU USE MULTICRAFT THEN YOU HAVE TO RENAME FTBSERVER.JAR to MINECRAFT_SERVER.JAR)
7. Now that you did this, start your server. You are now updated!
(Additional steps if you use MCPC)
8. Shut down your server.
9. Delete the ftbserver.jar/minecraft_server.jar.
10. Copy the latest version of MCPC into your root directory(it's a .jar file).
11. It will be named MCPCblehblehflippidyDoopWoop.jar (<- Something like that), rename it to minecraft_server.jar.
12. Start your server. You are now updated!
 
Ah.. This is very helpful but I'm not quite sure how to back up my server.. >A> And I can't seem to find how to anywhere..
also what's mcpc

If you have ftp access then just use Filezilla. Connect to your server, right click the root folder, and download it to your computer.

mcpc is used to allow most bukkit plugins to be functional on a FTB server. There are other methods, but mcpc is what I use so I included that.

The root folder is what EVERYTHING is in. The root folder is where you see the world folders, mods, coremods, config, server.log, WhateverYouNameYourJar.jar etc. You download the root folder because it has the entire server in it.

A step-by-step to backing up the server?

1. Download filezilla
2. In the top left click file > site manager
3. Click "Create a new site"
4. Host = server ip
5. Port = 21(this is the ftp port to connect to the actual server box since that's where the files are stored)
6. Logon Type = Account
7. User = user
8. pass = pass

Once connected just right click on the server root folder and download it.
