Updating direwolf20 1.6.4 server

Hi all

I'm kind of new to server admin and just found out that there is a new update for the direwolf20 1.6.4 pack. I'm currently running my server with mcpc+ because I use dynmap and worldborder and was wondering if there is a special way to update my server or I could juste copy the new mod folder from the update to the mod folder of my currently running server and just restart.

I'm fairly new to server management myself but this is how I'm handling things
What I've been doing is Creating folders per version
So I have folders for
1.0.3
1.0.4
etc
etc
1.0.7
1.0.8
I unpack the new RAR into the appropriate new version folder.
Then I copy my world folder to the new one, as well as my server.properties, whitelist, ops, (and a few modified config files ) and then just start the server!

I personally handle things this way because it also serves as a backup file, if something went wrong in the modpack or the upgrade, I could just fall back to the previous server version.
This I think makes it easier on my players as it might be more difficult to rollback a server if you didn't save the files.
