Background:
So, a little while back I decided that while I liked the Monster server I am primarily playing on, I wanted to have a little more fun with exploration, adventure, and generally more RP. For this I looked to the RPG Immersion pack, and was disappointed that it was for a rather old Minecraft version (1.4.7 I believe).
I proceeded to throw together a Minecraft 1.6.4 mod pack for my personal use that I sometimes stream/record with. I got a bit over excited doing this and got carried away with a current pack somewhere between RPG Immersion, Vanilla Overhaul, Magic World, and Attack of the B-Team.

The important part:
It occurred to me that what this pack needed was quests and perhaps a plotline to link it all together. Is there anyone else out there who would love to see a modpack with the old RPG Immersion as a starting point, that uses the Hardcore Questing Mode mod to tie together many adventure/magic/RP mods?
Divine RPG for the late game. Roguelike Dungeons, Better Dungeons, Twilight Forest for the earlier/mid game. A few magic mods like Ars Magica, Magic Crops. Creative mods like Carpenters' Blocks, Chisel, Statues, Bibliocraft. World gen mods Biomes 'o Plenty, Natura, Highlands.

I was wondering if there were people besides me who would be interested in playing and/or making such a thing. The tricky bit at the moment is many/most of these mods are at least in beta for 1.7.x

Not really, when I play games with quests I only ever accidentally complete them. Especially when those games are sort of open (AKA Skyrim).
That's why I play Minecraft, becasue it's the epitome of open and when people add quests to it I tend to ignore them or at least not focus on them. Like In Argrarian skies sometimes I will go for long periods of time not doing quests but being able to hand in several. Usualy it's a "What's this book for? ohh shit that's the quest book, better hand in a quest or two."

You also have to be careful with Divine RPG, it's designed to be a stand alone overhaul mod and it might not play nice with other world gen mods.
It's why the old DRPG pack was somewhat emaciated in comparison to the other packs.
That being said you could always try it.

Nice. Couple mods I might add in, but overall nice.

Is DivineRPG stable enough for a modpack yet and how have you balanced the other mods around it?

May I recommend throwing in some more magic? Witchery/Blood Magic/Thaumcraft would be nice, although not really exploration mods.
Project-Red World would be worthwhile for Volcanos and Marble.
Did you have Chisel/Carpenter's Blocks?

Have a look at some of the packs on the Void's Wrath launcher and pinch mods from there. Also check out Vanilla Overhaul and YogBox.
