Update on my problem

Ok so I've followed everything in the troubleshooting list and FAQs, I've updated/uninstalled/reinstalled java, faffed with antiviruses and firewalls, redownloaded FTB and everything but the launcher still has the "Please wait while mods are being loaded" in the modpack area. Here's the pastebin of my log http://pastebin.com/2F39eXFX. Also http://creeperrepo.net/ comes up as an error saying it is "currently unavailable" and "please check back in a few minutes" but it has been like that for 5 days. Please if there is anything anyone can suggest I've been dying to play FTB for ages.

• www.creeperrepo.com HAS to be gone to in internet explorer. (but your rigght, it is down for a while now, any way you check it)
• Where do you have FTB installed to?
• What firewall do you have?

I have it installed to my desktop. I have the PC tools firewall. it sucks, I just can't access any mod packs and I don't know why. My mod pack folder in roaming is completely empty.

1. Delete EVERYTHING for FTB
2. Download the launcher and save it to "C:\FTB\" without the quotes
3. Right click on the desktop and create a shortcut to the launcher
4. Start FTB with the shortcut and it should ask you where to install. Set the install to "C:\FTB" again without the quotes.
5. If it does not ask you, go to the options tab and set it there.
6. Try again to download a mod pack. if it does not work, please follow the link in my signature about log files.

Thanks I tried your instructions and it asked me to set it but on opening still said the same thing :/ I'll follow your link now[DOUBLEPOST=1375090576][/DOUBLEPOST]http://pastebin.com/sMceTcZQ here's the log files, I can't generate a crash report because it doesn't get to the point that I can open minecraft with FTB

That is odd, do you have admin permissions on the computer, or are you running as a limited account/guest?

It does show from that log that you are, I think, running the server version of java. Why would you have that one?
