Request Update news on unstable 1.10 ?

Hi Guys /Girls
yesterday i was happy to see an update for unstable 1.10
but then i was disappointed by the fact that mods i was looking to be updated, TiC for example with the new mending moss and other new modifiers, wasn't included.

i also couldn't add in appleskin because the version of forge wasn't new enough ?

if there is any news on updates please let me know, yes it is my bad i shouldn't have assumed anything, like the fact i thought direwolf20's forgecraft 2 was on this pack or that bleeding-edge meant all the updates even the unstable ones ...

alternatively if anyone can give me pointers on how i can add appleskin that would be helpful and if anyone could point me to any detailed information out of game about the commands in the pack, as i have had crashes repeatedly after trying to configure a team and claiming chunks to keep loaded in my singleplayer world [i can create a bug post for that if it would help anyone].

thanks in advance, i hope someone at least reads through and reply's i have a terrible track record of never getting any responses ever to my posts on forums.

I can't tell you much about when and how FTB updates their packs. However, forgecraft has never used an FTB pack. They have always done custom beeding edge mod testing.

As for Applecore, use the curse voice client to add it. Once you have the pack installed in curse voice open it and click on the three dots (...) in the upper right corner. Remove the checkmark for locked. Then click on the add more content button and search for applecore. I just tested this and it does work and load for me.

Yes I am using the curse launcher and I duplicate and did that to check yesterday but I will check again when I get home again today, and was that applecore or appleskin with is the new standalone

I have both loaded now on my unstable. Seems to be working fine.

Okay so it seems to load up fine now with appleskin, maybe curse was just doing that thing where it 'updates' the pack but realy it was lying and didn't do anything until after i had restarted my computer and i didn't test it after that [i was trying to get all the mods to work without maxing my CPU and couldn't]

on another note
i think im still going to make a new world though as i'm still getting a crash with the forge chunk manager when trying to chunk load using the claimed chunks or unclaim them
