8363 With the 4x4 you have to make all the pieces in between the corner and side pieces the same, so then you have a 3x3s center pieces. The you have to match the side pieces. From there it’s literally just solving a 3x3. (Granted with a few extra difficult to solve parity cases at the last layer)

8365 Not much at all. It has the same core as a modern 3x3. Those are just attached to plates. So theres a 2x2 plate connected to each end of the core. 2x1 plates around each 2x2 plate, and then the corner pieces fit inside the plates’ layout without a plate of its own. Everything else just kinda fits on. It’s really cool.
