4285. So, having bought a second hand laptop from my brother-in law...
...I can now play Beyond. I've barely scratched the surface, but I'm taking it easy, getting there slowly, and really enjoying it
I always use the seed "404", because I've found that in 1.10, in puts my spawn on the side of a big river, with a village directly across from me. The river usually has lots of clay, gravel and sand, and the village has plenty of crops to be getting on with. Plus, village lampposts with wool make an easy source for an early bed!

I've got my TiCon smeltery up and running, just need to get me a basic hammer going and start delving into the depths.

I've got me a couple of hammers I'm using in Beyond - a basic stone hammer, all parts stone except the handle. cheap and easy to repair (might swap the plates out for something else later); and my iron hammer - copper plates, for the XP, wooden handle again, and "sharpened" with an obsidian kit. Its doing me pretty well One thing I've found though - I haven't gotten any resonating redstone crystals from mining redstone, at all! I want to get started on ExU2, you see. I also haven't seen many Endermen around either.
