Ive had a problem in the last 2 servers I played. I love a bit of thaumcraft but ive encountered a problem and i dont know whats caused it or how to fix it. Basically at some point my local aura node decides to act like a dark node even though its a normal node. The aura starts to deplete rapidly and flux builds up and never dissipates. I mean never. Eventually the aura goes down to 0 and flux is always high or dangerous.
I bred rejuvinating bees and the node overcharged to like 28k. The flux didnt dissappear. I bred pure bees and they give me shards of just about every aspect.
I havent done any thaumcraft in weeks and it never corrects itself. Has anyone come across this?
Like I said its happened in the last 2 server plays and its been my local node in each server so it must be me not someone else.

Probably some derp using your node for thaumcraft stuff. Nodes usually don't just randomly deplete and increase in flux. Also if the node has a swirl in the middle it is a unstable node and will continually increase its flux level.

Also if it is not recharging you may want to check the vis ores under that node you probably have depleted vis ores. Another thing is it may be far enough away from other vis nodes to not be recharged.

Something to note...
If you overcharge a node, it also produces flux.

28k overcharged is absolutely a ridiculous amount.

the only time it doesn't self-produce flux is when it's equal with its capacity, so when you've got it back to that level, the pure bees will clean the rest of the flux up for you

He knows that, that's why he came here.

The node, for some reason, constantly loses aura.
If we can figure out why, we can solve it.

The drain is too constant and has been going for too long to be Thaumic bees Frames.
There are no arcane bores in the world.

Yet the aura still drains.

If there's a chain of aura's and there's somebody else with for example, an automated arcane furnace. it's possible that through daisy chaining his aura is the one that is suffering not the others.
automated arcane furnaces are worse than any type of arcane bore ._. had experience with this one. overnight managed to drain about 15 aura's to 0.

So, my question is, are there other aura's drawing from this one which are also 0?
You might even have a dark node in the area which is drawing from this aura and causing the vis loss which in turn causes flux.

That's the only other things I can think of besides arcane bores and bee frames that constantly use up
