Unstable 1.12, what mods are needed for a server?

I am well aware that no official support for a server is forthcoming for Unstable. So will anyone give me a list of what mods I would have to have in a server pack I'd make?

Again I am just looking for simple help, not a slog fest of replies like "There is no server support"

Basic answer is - the same as in the pack on the client (- the ones that are client side only)

As you said:

"There is no server support"

So if you want to build a server pack that fits the current unstable that's available, you'll be stuck with the support yourself - and checking out the mods in the list could be a good way for you to "know the pack".

(if you download the zip-file there's a manifest.json file inside - that file contains information on all mods in the pack with download links)

With this said, why do you want to build a server pack based on that pack?

Perhaps it would be easier to use any of the packs that are released with both client and server versions?
(I'm assuming you don't have that much experience on the matter - based on the question you ask)

Unfortunately, this is something that every server admin has to figure out on their own. It's part of being a server admin. If you're asking this question, you don't even know how many are going to follow. You learn this gig by trial and error.

Thanks for the replies. If I figure it out I'll post what I am doing to make a server here.
