Trying to place water down in a certain part of my build to make a 3x3. I place it down, it disappears. However, I am able to pick it back up. I placed it again to see if I swim, but I do not. I placed an aqueous accumulator it isn't filling it up. Im using a lan server, restarted both did nothing. Note worthy, I am able to place water down just a couple blocks away. And I am no where near the starting spawn point. While typing this I noticed when I placed down aqueous accumulator it takes the water and fills the buckets up again. I am able to place water 12 blocks away. And I also noticed I put down water in one location and can pick it up in another.

Really strange, are you trying to place it in an protected area by any chance? Other then that i can only guess Lag?
Is there anything written in the server console or logfiles when you place down the water?
If so please post some logs on pastebin and link them

you might have more then 5GB in the server, it's using 97mb and only has 61% free so i guess your not using it in the server bat file atleast (as a sidenote).
Are you playing alone? cause then you don't need a server at all, you should be able just to play with single player (seeing server and client on 1 pc).

Yes I have server and am playing on own computer but I do not play alone. Im new to servers, how do I allocate more RAM to it? When I posted earlier I had 5GB into server, what I thought I pumped into server was through the FTB options. Edit your server.properties file and change the default 16 blocks to spawn-protection=0 and save file. This is assuming you did not move far off when your world was created. To increase your memory on the server assuming you have enough RAM to increase it. Edit the ServerStart.bat file (right click file-click edit. Notepad++ is a far superior editor and free download).
Remember that Client and Server require RAM as well as your computers operating system. So don't put in more than you have.
