Hi guys, I've heard that the Ultimate pack won't be update because Redpower 2 isn't updated. I know that you can modify your modpack by enable/disable and add mods to make your game the way you want to play it. I'm wondering if there is a Unofficial Feed The Beast Ultimate pack with newer versions of the mods? New updates to the modpack but it havn't gone official because of the problem with Redpower 2.

And why isn't Redpower 2 updated? Can't it be replaced with any other mod or simply deleted from the modpack?

The closest thing to an updated FTB Ultimate is FTB Unleashed for Minecraft 1.5.2.

You can access the pack through the private packs window in the launcher and typing 'FTBUnleashed'

To answer your question about why Redpower isn't updated, Eloraam seems to be very busy so like the 1.3 update it'll likely take awhile but she has confirmed that it will be updated. She posts updates on her twitter at twitter.com/therealeloraam
Also this post should've probably gone in Mod Discussion.
