Can anyone help with my quarry sorting system? I currently use an item tesserect hooked up to 1 router with some cobblestone pipe and feeding into a bunch of barrels. I have the bandwidth, speed and thoroughness on the routers and it still have items flying out and the router not keeping up and I have items going into the over flow at the end which have barrels that they should be put into. I've only been playing ftb for a few weeks and this is my first time using the forums so I'm not sure if this is in the right part of the forums. Any help is appreciated, thanks

A router can only hold one type of item at a time, so multiple routers are needed if you want to use a tesseract. I would suggest you use an enderchest instead for your long distance teleportation of items and place it right next to the router.

For your main storage you could use AE instead of barrels. As for pumping stuff out of chest using a BC pipe connect the pipe to a redstone energy cell or energy tesseract. It will empty an entire chest full cobble in seconds.

AE is much quicker and more efficient in many ways. + it makes auto processing of ores soooooooooooooooooo much easier. Making a basic me system is not expensive, and takes almost no power at all (15-25 units, dats like 7-12eu or even less with mj), also 4-5 4k disks will do the job for the first quarry. Once one quarry is done it would be much easier to make more disks (snowball).

Also for cobble and dirt, if you can then make some dsu's. They store like a monster. You will be unlikely to need even 2 for cobble. Much better than barrel. I would say the only expensive thing would be a filled tesseract frame, but that is not expensive at all since diamond can come from gold with EE3, ender pearl can come from iron, and obsidian can come from wood (not planks).

Translocators are good at pushing stuff into routers. If you put a chest next to your tesseract and then translocate from the chest to the router you should be fine, especially if you put glowstone on one of the translocators.

You can increase the number of items the wooden pipe extracts from an inventory by giving the wooden pipe more power. Any engine would work. You can also power wooden pipes with the help of Autarchic gates and if you enable more "Energy Pulser" actions you also get more power to the wooden pipe. A diamond Autarchic gate can provide enough power to the wooden pipe for it to extract full stacks every pulse.

Try and let the items from the tesseract go into a chest first. Then make one router extract from chest and eject into another router that inserts into your barrels. This way the routers can make use of the bandwidth upgrade and pull stacks at the same time. Other way you mentioned will only have the router pull the single items at the time as they come through the pipe.
