unleashed keeps crashing with optifine

Hello all,

I have been playing ftb for quite a while now, but i want optifine installed. But nomatter what my ftb keeps crashing while it is loading when i installed optifine. nomatter what version i use i always get the same crash.

I checked the compatibility with fml. update FML but still crashing.

Here are the pastebins of the crashreports.

If anything else is needed let me know.

I would also like to add that i have 5gb of ram reserved for mc. so i don't think that would be the problem.
also i got the latest version of ftb i think, it is on minecraft 1.5.2 and i updated java to the latest version, even tried to install it a couple of times. And i have win7 64bit

If you have not tried them already use the jvm arguments from the thread here as they will help with heavily modded minecraft.

I also think that optifine limits the texture size to 1024 and mods need higher than that. So you will need to remove it.

I thought Eyamaz's guide included that part, but I guess it does not. Go to the Options tab, in between the News and ModPacks. Then click Advanced Options at the bottom. The text box next to Additional Java Parameters is where you want to paste the text. Use Cntrl+C and Cntrl+V so you do not accidentally mistype it.

Though I have a feeling that this is caused by Optfine and the amount of textures in the texture pack as UniZero has said.

Hmm, i tested it out, i'm running at 100-120 FPS but with constant fps drops wich makes it unplayable. I know from experience fps drops could be caused by hardware getting to hot and stuff, but checked that aswell but everything is fine and normal.

allrighty, i think i found the problem. I was using the sphax texturepack, with that installed it is not working, however when i disable it, it works.

indeed, the issue is solved now. sp for the people that have the same crash like me do not use optifine and sphax toghether.
