  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Unleashed(+GT) Server Crashing
Launcher Version:
1.4.7
Modpack:
FTB Unleashed
Modpack Version:
1.1.7

Details of the issue:
Basically, I really wanted to play a pack with GregTech, but that's also very similar to Ultimate. What I did was add GT to Unleashed, simple as that. Then I downloaded the server file for Unleashed, added GT to that as well, and ran it, and it works. No problems there.

The problem I'm having is that after about five minutes of me having the server up and running, with me and a friend in it, the server crashes. Like, the game runs fine and all, but for some reason everything freezes in place, the console doesn't respond to commands, and then we get kicked after about two minutes of that, as well as the server submitting a crash report and, well, crashing.

The link to my latest crash report is there.

P.S. I've tried allocating more RAM, but for some reason the server doesn't want to run when I do that. Like, if I edit the .bat file to say "java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -XX:permSize=1024m -jar ftbserver.jar" it runs fine, but I have a feeling that 1024m is not gonna be enough RAM to support me and, say, four or five other people exploring this world.
But if I do make it higher, like putting it to "...-Xms2048m -Xmx4096m -XX:permSize=4096m...," then it just doesn't run. Like, saving it like that and then double-clicking on the .bat file at that point just brings up the command prompt for a good third of a second, and instantly closes it. I can't even read what it says before it closes. It just comes up and goes away immediately, without warning or reason. So I don't know how to allocate more RAM and get it to actually work, which, if I'm correct, is why the server is crashing so easily.
I can't read logs, though, so if that's not the problem then I'm not surprised. Just, any help?
