you may loose some items from the BOP mod if you had it enabled in your world. the main difference between 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 is that 1.1.4 has a newer version of BOP, and buildcraft. No ID changes, so buildcraft is still fine, altho you need to go over your power lines to ensure that they have the correct capacity. they changed some energy transport mechanics between the two versions.
