I just tried to download the server *.jar and the repository isnt working. Any ideas?

Fiirst off check if they are up here:
http://status.feed-the-beast.com/
If they aren't up then be patient. If they are up, and you still can't download then you need to describe your problem better. Make sure you are downloading the server jars from the correct place, namely here:
http://feed-the-beast.com/download.php

You replied to a post thats from November 19th of last year. The Repos were down that day. The hosting was down that day/week. No wonder you don't understand.
