First, let me preface this by saying that this is strictly for my single player internal server. I do not ever have this problem on multiplayer.
Occasionally, usually after several hours of gameplay, or excessive realm-hopping (frequent travel between realms such as Nether to Overworld or vice-versa) my console starts giving me messages like, [WARNING] [Minecraft] Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? This is followed shortly or prefaced by a very noticeable FPS drop that lasts for only a second or two. Basically, the game freezes for a second.
Now, I have 3 GBs of RAM on my 8 GB computer dedicated to FTB. The debug screen claims that it is using 35% or less of this dedicated RAM when any of these FPS drops occur. So, I can conclusively say that it's probably not my computer.
Do you guys have any idea what might be causing this? It's extremely annoying. The only way to fix it is to completely restart my client, which in turn shuts off all of my turtles. I would love to find a solution.
