Ok guys, so been playing FTB for a while now and have a hired dedicated server for it. the last week or two i have been getting strange lag spikes. I'll boot up and log into the server and i'll be able to play seamlessly for about 5-10 minutes no issues at all, i run all lowest graphics settings and have set java to high priority in processes. I have checked core temps, reinstalled FTB, running in full screen, nothing running in the background, tried changing the ram allowed etc etc most of the usual stuff, but somehow i still cant find a cause for these spikes.
My normal framerate is around 30-45 (playable) i have a low spec pc. So i'll be not doing a lot, maybe looking at a wall, walking around my house etc and just every 15-30 seconds my fps drops to about 2-3, then back up to normal, then drops again etc. I have linked a video below that i took to demonstrate the issues with framerate shown. I am only moving around to demonstrate how bad im lagging but the framerate will drop even if im just standing still.
