unable to start crash landing, fails to launch past launcher

im not sure if this is in the right place, but im trying anyway.

when I try to load up crash landing, I hit launch, and it looks like its going to work, but then after about 1 second, it just closes out, (crash to desktop maybe?)

im going to attach my launcher log aswell.

It isn't really, would be better to post on the crash landing thread. But I can help.

Best guess is your java version. There's a problem with forge and the newer java. Try uninstalling java and installing the latest java 7 version.

is there any problems in other parts of my computer with downgrading to java 7?

EDIT: yeah, downdrading worked, but i would like some input still on potential future problems :)

Crash Landing unable to start? I HAVE downgraded to Java 7 Version 71, but after one minute, it comes up with a SEVERE message.

[SEVERE]: Unable to start.

Can i have any help on this?

EDIT: I also have removed Java 6.

You must be running Windows 7 64-bit if you do not Crash Landing will not run. The FTB launcher does warn you of this when you start it.

i have 64-bit

also, for some reason, the FTB launcher has not recognized that im running Java 7. it thinks im running Java 6. every other modpack runs fine, even with the Java 6 mistake, but Crash Landing
