Unable to start an FTB Infinity Evolved Server using Multicraft.

Title Unable to start an FTB Infinity Evolved Server using Multicraft.

Launcher Type Server

Modpack FTB Infinity Evolved

Modpack version 3.0.2

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file

Details of the issue Whenever I attempt to start the server I have uploaded all the files to, I get the below error message and (obviously) a server crash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (I apologise if I missed something, this is my first forum post)

Did you start the server locally first before uploading?

First time starting the server using the provided .sh (linux/osx) or .bat (windows) - kicks of a download of needed files.

So if you didn't do that, start it locally and then upload.

Post new info / log if it still fails (and use paste.feed-the-beast.com to share logs, and share the link here to it)

How much ram does the server have?
(looks like it's out of ram)

I'll just throw the specs up.

  • 5GB Minecraft Server
  • Unlimited Slots
  • Unlimited SSD Storage
  • 2 Gbps Connection
I thought 5GB seemed enough, but I don't know.

And how much did you allocate for the minecraft server?

I wouldn't know, it's running on largely default settings as I'm no pro hoster. This was meant to be a small server for my friends, but I'm just gonna go ahead and change modpacks.

EDIT: Still doesn't work, even when I run something as small as Tekkit. I think I have a terrible host.

It looks like you've allocated 1gb of the 5 you have, so it's necessarily not the hoster beeing bad - it sounds more like you didn't set the configurations correctly.

You need to allocate more ram for the server otherwise it will not work, regardless of where the server is running.

I got it working, but out of curiosity how would I go about raising that?
