Hello,

I have been having a strange problem trying to use the new 1.6.4 packs. Everything seems to be working alright at first but then I get a bunch of missing texture errors and the client closes before it gets to the main menu. I have tried everything listed on the basic troubleshooting page but I still have the same problem. I will post my specs below.

OS: Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
CPU: AMD FX-8350
RAM: 16GB 1600 mhz
GPU: AMD HD 7770

Also, here is the pastebin from the console while the client was starting up.

Hopefully someone is able to help me, and thank you in advance.

K:\Program Files (x86)\Games\FTB\Direwolf20_1_6_4\minecraft
Your log says you did not follow the guide properly. Trying to use the Program Files folder will lead to a lot of errors. Please follow the guide and create a folder on your desktop named FTB.

Very strange. I did properly complete the troubleshooting guide before I started this thread. I might have posted the wrong log through. So I have redone the troubleshooting guide and I am still having the same problem.
Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/uKiew69g

Edit: Also I just found a crash report. Possibly could help?

Thanks for your help.

Did you copy it as it was posted? Make sure you remove all previous settings and use the FTB Launcher arguments. If you did please let Eyamaz know in the arguments thread.

Yes I copied it just as it was posted, and I didn't have any previous arguments. I have posted on Eyamaz's thread.
I also tried a simple argument (-Xmx2048M-Xms2048M) and it gave me the exact same error. Do you know why?

I removed all the arguments and set the slider to 3GB and then opened the Direwolf 1.5.2 pack (I already knew this pack works). When I get into the game the debug menu says I have only given it 494mb. I'm not sure if this is normal, or if it's useful information. At this point i'm just taking shots in the dark.

Your log says you did not follow the guide properly. Trying to use the Program Files folder will lead to a lot of errors. Please follow the guide and create a folder on your desktop named FTB.
It also indicates he's downloaded and installed 32 bit Java on a 64 bit system.
(Hint: the folder Program Files x86 doesn't exist on 32 bit systems)
