Solved Unable to Interact with Objects near Spawn

Hello,
Recently after building and turning on a MultiFarm (Forestry) I am unable to interact with most objects that are near my spawn (bed). Some objects I can interact with include: Uncrafting Table, Generator, and one Switch (not others). Some I cannot: most wheat near my spawn, most chests, furnaces, Coal Coke, Recyclers, Macerators, Extractor, MFSU, Bio Generator, Ender Chest, etc. Right clicking on those simply does nothing, except for the hand animation of the character.

It appears to affect a certain radius of items, but I am uncertain the origin block causing the issue. Attempting to destroy blocks in that radius does not work either.

Giving myself Op does not solve the issue. This affects all players, not just myself.

Also, I have restarted both the client and server. The server runs openSUSE 12.3 and the client Windows 7. I have no extra mods installed - default Feed The Beast 1.1.3 installation on both the client and server.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Sounds almost like an Interdiction Matrix stop use on in that area if it is effecting everything in a certain area. But if it started happening right after you turned on the forestry farm have you tried breaking it?

I'm not familiar with an Interdiction Matrix. The server only has two players: myself and a friend. He doesn't know what an Interdiction Matrix is and neither do I.

I'd really rather not destroy the farm... especially since the farm isn't in the radius that is affected by this. In fact it's no where even close.

Is there any way to debug this? Perhaps turning on extra debugging output from the server? Anyone else have any ideas?

EDIT: Also, it appears that opping myself fixes the issue. Is there a way I can fix it other than opping all players?

If oping yourself fixes it (you said it did not before) then its just the server spawn protection. Open server.propererties and change spawn protection to 0.

I apologize, I did in fact say that. I realize now that the name I used in the console when opping was missing one character (one which I normally don't use on my nickname). I later went back and tried it again and it worked because I spelled my name correctly.

This solution worked. Not sure why this was triggered all of a sudden since the server has been up for a week or more, but alas, it worked.
