Ever since the release of the ultimate pack I have been super excited to play it.
I have one problem though, I cant get more that 5FPS on it.

Direwolf20 runs good, but not ultimate...

Is there any reasoning for this other than the number of mods installed?

Any and all help is appreciated.

System specs:
Intel Pentium 2.13GHz CPU
8GB RAM
Win7 X64
intel integrated graphics

Since there are alot more mods in U.FTB I THINK that more mods require more and more from the user to run.
Also, your CPU is not that great... I would recommend at least a i5 for it. Even with that i get 30-40fps depending on where I am.
Make sure you have optifine. :p
Good luck:cool:

I do use optifine and I know my CPU is crappy, I cant afford an upgrade and I'm just trying to salvage some fun...

short+32
Fast
fog off
no clouds
multicore chunk loading
OpenGL fast
Better grass On
better snow on
connected textures on
the rest is default
Here's an idea..
1.Open up where your launcher saves at.
2.Open up Minecraft
3.Scroll down till you see "options"
4. Open that up.
5.Find fps limit.
6. It should be set to 0 so set it to 250.
There ya go! Should increase some fps.

It has something to do with poor caching of worlds, and you can tell because in the console it tells you about the error.

It may help if you increase your PermGen space as well. As Java has updated this has begun to affect more and more people - it used to just affect Macs. I set it to 256MB but you should go with what works for you. Once Ultimate was out and in testing I started getting these problems myself and doing this cleared them up lightning fast.

E: Some extra info after a bit of hunting around on Google. :)

The PermGen space in Java is where it stores all the class definitions for your code - it's essentially the master index for locating code files to run. If it's not big enough to store the complete index - and apparently Ultimate is big enough to break the default limit - Java and Minecraft will start acting really, really wierd the moment you break the limit and it tries to run something it can't find.

By default the PermGen space is 64MB.
