So, yesterday, a friend of mine suggested that i should make a small Ultimate server for us (and some other people with a total player cap of 5, since my RAM is only 1GB and I still can manage to run servers with 50-100 mods and play at the same time). I got the FTB launcher (and also really liked it), installed Ultimate and the corresponding server, launched it, did some usual everyday settings such as setting up ops and server settings. It worked perfectly. It was put together so well and so optimized that I even managed to squeeze stable 25-50 FPS (with Fancy and Smooth Lighting) out of it on the server while hosting on a weak PC. We played for a bunch of hours, my friend started building a fort in the mountains, and i was just playing around with the mods in Survival like i usually do. I'm not sure if he ever got to the point when he started installing RP/WR-based lighting and machinery that could break the server, but most likely no, it was just an empty fort.

Then i stopped the server and went to sleep. Today, i tried launching it, but at first it just literally closed itself at some point and gave me that in the root folder. By the way, i had the ultimate client opened at the same time.

I tried launching it again, and this time it crashed with an actual console error, and a crash report.

Then, i tried setting the RedPower auto-assign option to 1.
Again, it crashed and closed itself for no reason like the first time.

I'll try to redownload the server, but i think i tried everything I could for now.
If the world is not salvageable, what other SMP tech/magic/adventure pack (besides Tekkit) can i choose?

1gb is not enough to play ultimate let alone host it. With 1GB of ram, i'd play vanilla.

Vanilla is horrible. That is all i can say.
For me, it's more than enough. I even managed to play and host at the same time with almost no problems. Case closed.

I handed the server hosting to a friend with a better PC, and pretty much everything is fine now.
