Okay, so check this out...

I downloaded FTB.exe, and properly stored files and all. I launched FTB launcher after increasing my RAM to 2GB. I opened the Ultimate pack, and it took me to the pack screen (menu w/singleplayer, multiplayer, etc.)

This is where it flops. I try to create a new world, join my existing world, and join a server, but all of these actions simply freeze the game on the brown dirt background. Essentially, it just doesnt work.

Also, the console log also freezes, so it gathers none of the crash data. Sometimes, the game closes, and the console data also closes automatically with it.

I don't know what the problem is at all. I have reinstalled the mod twice now. Can someone help me?

link for log when connecting to multiplayer (up to freeze): http://pastebin.com/aVJ9BWFC

For this, the screen went black.

Something I just noticed. When joining the singleplayer world, it says that the terrain doesn't exist (I don't think it was ever successfully created), then it tries to regen the terrain. After a few minutes of doing this, the game says "shutting down internal server...". It begins to auto-shut down?

For this, the screen went black.

I am having the exact same problems, any fix or reply explaining why it's happening would be very helpful.

I'm using FTB launcher Ultimate pack, same black screen for multi and same dirt background for single. I've set 4gb ram in the options of the FTB launcher.
