Ubuntu 14.04 Not working well with FTB

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I am using Ubuntu 14.04 as my operating system. The game gets all the way through the loading, and then crashes. Can confirm that this happens every single time. I have an Intel i3 video card if that helps.

Could you also paste the crash report? According to the console log you posted it should be here:

[15:55:47] [Client thread/INFO] [STDOUT]: [net.minecraft.client.Minecraft:func_71377_b:359]: #@!@# Game crashed! Crash report saved to: #@!@# /home/avi/Desktop/FTB/FTBInfinity/minecraft/crash-reports/crash-2016-01-05_15.55.47-client.txt

Also, I just tried another pack, Vanilla+, and it worked fine.

Nevermind I figured out how to reload the pack and let the launcher do the loading for about five hours.
It now hangs at:
Loading -- Completing Minecraft initialization 7/7
Loading Resources -- Reloading Listeners 169/169
Reloading -- Language Manager 1/26

I have the following log:
http://pastebin.com/MZgW1jD0
here is no crash report since the game has not yet crashed on me.

This is the newest version of Infinity correct? If so update to Java 8 instead of 7. Also, check you ram used for java in your settings. Make sure it between 3 to 4 GB. That last log indicated about 1.5GB.

It's 2.2.2. That's the recommended version of Infinity Evolved.
