Bonus from spiny and stonebound modifiers depend on how much durability was actually used, in uses, not percentage (however it is not linear dependency anymore since T2 tools). So a bonus from spiny on a manamana sword will be a lot better than on paper sword. Also it stacks, two parts from cactus will give you more spininess than one part. I think bonus from two cacti part at 400 durability lost will be the same as bonus from one cacti part at 800 durability, but I haven't tested this scaling extensively.

After a bit of testing, it seems +0.5 every 300 dura with cactus binding. Interesting.
I recently checked the code to verify i was not crazy b4 reporting a bug. F1 is guaranteed at 100, F2 at 300 and F3 at 450.
F0 to F1 = 100 lapis
F1 to F2 = 200 additional lapis
F2 to F3 = 150 additional lapis.
Strangely its cheaper to go from F2 to F3 than it is to get from F1 to F2
