Twillight Forest Base

So a friend of mine told me ANYTHING technological in the twillight forest will cause a chunk reset in which the machine is in. He said he lost countless quarries to it MFE's, IC2 miners etc. This question is generally on the FTB unhinged pack but any help is appreciated.

Actually, I think it's more of an issue with Ender Chests causing the reset. This is purely based on what I've read/overheard on this forum.

I think that this myth is in part spread by Direwolf with his "The endermen don't let me use my quantumsuit here" thing.
There have been issues with quarries being reset, but I sincerely doubt that TF would contain malicious code specifically designed to annoy players, at least in such a meta way (and with no warning).

Both myself and someone else on my server have lost quarries in the TF. It's like they bugged out rather than destroyed as the frame of the quarry was still there and the engines will still outputting into the space it should have occupied (magma engine)

Ender chests and quarries don't work well when they are in the same chunk. Pipe the items to a different chunk.

the ender chest and tank,i heard, are capable of causing chunk resets when setup to transfer things cross-dimensions. and since TF and that ender stuff turns out to be quite popular, i wouldnt be surprise that about such rumors about TF.

...our use an item tesseract. I've used four quarries to mine a giant hollow hill from level 100 down to bedrock, outputting to a tesseract, and never had an issue.

Well, other than the utterly massive lag created by my quarry breaking open a well at level 92 and having water spewing everywhere across hundreds of thousands of blocks...but that was user error.

okay so item tesseracts wont reset chunks, thanks for the info and ender chests will i'll keep that in mind but one major question has anyone ever made a base in the twillight forest and didnt have any issues whatsoever
