Do not under any circumstance attempt to mine or attack the thorns in Twilight Forest using Draconic Evolution picks, the Staff of Power, etc.
Yes, you can use those tools to destroy the thorns almost instantly.
NO, IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Because when you do, and you hold down the mouse button thinking HUR HUR I'LL JUST CLEAR THIS SHIT OUT, I DON'T NEED THE LAMP OF CINDERS, the thorns, which already have the wonderful ability to grow back instantly, will immediately do so more than you want it to.
I made this horrible mistake and got completely trapped in a box of green thorns three blocks thick on all sides including it occupying the very space I was standing in and even with the Draconic Armor it wrecked me while I panicked trying to figure out what the everliving frackle happened to me and tried to get out, swinging the staff and making it infinitely worse.
