How to get this? And don't say "go to End" or "go to Nether" but are they found by digging or killing?

Thats no problem. I was making a bloodbad yesterday in both places

It should be noted that both are somewhat rare. I managed to get 3 nether shards in like 2 hours of exploring the nether.

I got my first one by killing a pigman

Cat's all like "Burd, wat r u doing? Burd, staph!" and I'm just chuckling. Nice .gif, but getting to the nether is easy, and the end isn't much harder honestly. Just ten obsidian to go deeper, 10 lava if you're smart, and it takes about 2 eye's of ender to find the portal under ideal conditions(with a CC program and correctly following it's directions), and at most a full stack of ender pearls for eyes of ender to enter the end proper...

Dunno, I honestly have never found the end portal with eyes of ender outside of creative mode, and when I do find it in survival mode, it's because I chose a seed that made it super easy to find. "Dossier" is a favorite of mine because of it's easy to locate end portal.
