Windows .jar Trying to use 64bit java

I've am currently using 32bit Java. I'm also getting a lot of out of memory errors. So I downloaded 64bit Java in the hope that I'd be able to give it more memory to use. However, I don't know how to force FTB to use the 64bit version.

In the launcher -> options you can move the slider to allocated more RAM to minecraft.

If it launches using the 32bit version then you should uninstall the 32 bit version off of your computer.

I know I looked at that slider yesterday and it was maxed out at 1GB. I wanted to check again this morning in case I missed something before I typed a reply and it changed. So, now I have the max memory set to 4GB. Hope that fixes the problem.
