I don't understand why this is happening as before it worked OK. But for some strange reason now, the game crashes on start-up. Can anyone help me as this wonderful pack has no way of truely playing it offline.

Hello, use magicMC and copy over all the stuff from FTBBETA-->minecraft over to oyur normal .minecraft folder then select the jar in magicMC (In Setup) and Badda boom badda bing a jury rigged FTB "launcher fix"

P.S. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T RUN IT USING NORMAL MINECRAFT SHORTCUT

You have so many .jar mods that it's impossible to reliably say anything about your install and it'd be unreasonable to ask anybody to take the time to sort it all out; the first pastebin log flat out says that Elemental Arrows is causing the flip-out in that case. Remember: every .jar mod you add is another layer of complexity that'll possibly conflict with Forge itself and cause Bad Things To Happen™. You're going to have to, in that case, do what every person who manually installs all their mods does: remove the lot of the .jar mods and add them back in one by one until you see what breaks and what doesn't.

Thanks, guys. But...

Doddle41: I'm used to MultiMC and it works really well with Minecraft...plus, I don't want to lose my original non-forge minecraft (even though I can back it up).

Vauthil: I do have a lot of mods, but Elemental Arrows wasn't the cause. I managed to fix it by comparing the list of jarmods from FTB and MultiMC and then placing Forge first, GUIAPI for ID Resolver second, everything other jar mod next and finally Optifine. That did the trick and I'll remove some mods if I run into any problems.

So far, I have 63 mods running.

Vauthil, offtopic: when will we get the slab panels and pillars that Docm77 and Monkeyfoarm are showcasing on Youtube?

Good to hear that's worked out, then. =)

That's all RedPower2, and the most recent videos from him in "Modded Minecraft" are a pack they have together for themselves. From what I understand, their series actually using the same FTB pack as the rest of us starts in a couple episodes, so they aren't using any super special magic stuff. ;)

As always, the answer to when we'll have RP2: When Eloraam feels ready to release it. =)

Hopefully, she'll release Redpower 2 shortly. It looks great.

Oh, sorry to ask this...but Flax Seeds? Also Redpower 2 or something else?

Once you have downloaded the pack for the first time, there should be an offline option. However, you need to download, and I think run, it once while connected to the internet. I think.

When did this offline option happen as I have the latest build of the pack and it still requires me to be online?

I just updated to Version 1.0.6 of the launcher and I still don't get the offline button option. Was it removed or am I being trolled? No offense to the poster, but was looking forward to playing FTB at work without going through the hassle of configuring it with MultiMC.
