I'm trying to make a server and it seems when I open the "serverstart" batch file, it opens and automatically closes. It's so fast I can't see anything. I've tried re downloading and even a different mod pack and it's doing the same thing. I did try running it through admin mode but still crashes.

need a little more information than that, system specs would be a start. run "cmd" and navigate to where the batchfile is located and run it.

What do you mean? I understand the cmd part but not the rest.
You will need to know how to navigate in DOS to accomplish this. Open the folder that contains the batch file in windows so you can see the path. Now open the DOS box as you were told to earlier by TiGG. Once there type in this 'cd' then a space and the full folder path. Example: 'C:\users\user\desktop\ftb\' This will change the folder the DOS box is told to work on/in. Once there type dir, for a directory, or folder, listing. You should see the batch file listed. If it is then type in the bath file name fully. If you need guide posted somewhere I could try to Google something up.
