Trouble with the launcher

Just curious, have you increased the max memory seting in the launcher to over 1GB?

Does that provoke "failed to write" errors?

No, I lowered it to 768MB because I thought it would work with lower memory setting. =\

Don't know, but 32bit java seems to have a limit on 1GB for whatever reason so just figured i'd rule it out.

Could you make sure that your java is 32bit and not 64bit?
At least if your windows is 32bit as i believe it is.

32 bit isn't designed for huge amounts of RAM.
(And apparently anything more than one seems to be huge)

I tried with the lowest RAM settings and it still cuts out halfway through =[
