Trouble with Bloodstone

Hello all,
I am trying to make my 4th tier Blood Magic Altar and I need to make Bloodstone for it to work, but when I put a weak blood shard and stone in my crafting bench it does nothing, I have used an arcane crafting bench too and also made sure I was very close to my altar and still nothing.

Need this to advance! Any help would be cool thanks guys!

Try putting a stack of stone in at once
From memory it actually crafts 32 stone with one blood shard to give 32 blood stone

I had already tried that with no luck, thanks for the suggestion though. Not sure why it is not working and can not really do anymore Blood magic without it.

Is this in Magic Farm? If so, Jaded may have changed the recipe, and if not are you using regular vanilla stone?

I am using vanilla stone and it is Magic World 2 actually. NEI tells me a weak blood shard and a piece of stone.
