Tried to move a Plate Bender and Got parts

You spent hours making a plate bending machine? And you didn't even research how to move it?

There's also a possibility to lose your machine even if you do use a wrench on it.
It's a very small chance though (5%) so you shouldn't worry about it. You should use a prototype omniwrench or the electric wrench (on lossless mode, hold M and right click to toggle between lossless and cheap modes) to pick up IC2 machines, if you're worried about losing any more machines.
Also, you can just go into NEI, go to the black search box at the bottom, type in the name of the plate bending machine (if you're on 1.4.7 ultimate you can just type in "we want bender" and it should be the only thing that shows up), go over to it and right click on it to give yourself back what you lost. If it doesn't do anything, go to options and make sure you're on cheat mode, and not recipe mode.

I think Greg fixed that, you cant use omniwrench. So I guess it's not omni.
Which version of gregtech and omniwrench is this with. I don't know when Greg changed the Api either.
I run Gregtech 3.05e and omnitools 3.1.6.0

He's a noob. He can't be expected to know all of the back story or politics involved. He sees FTB as a package, so it natural that he rails against the package. We should educate, not ridicule.
As for the OP. The plate bending machine comes from a mod called Gregtech. Run a search on the forums and you'll see lots of controversy with the mod. The FTB pack includes this mod, but it also includes other mods that offer alternative strategies to achieve similar goals. I understand your frustration and I suggest that you read up on the IC2 mod first so that you can understand the importance of using wrenches on certain tools. Gregtech is an add on of IC2 and the machine/wrench dynamic stems from this association.
The forums also have a strategy thread that helps tremendously. I wish you luck and fun.
