Hi guys,

I'm playing on a personalized modpack, I started since about a month and I created my first tree farm only yesterday (oak wood). I launched it before to sleep, however, today, I saw that no one tree grew.
I really don't understand, the light level is more than correct, trees have enough place to grow, I already built tens of those tree farms...
Trees only grow if I use bone meal on the sapling, or if I use a watering can a long time on them.

Here is my farm, maybe it could help:

Thanks in advance.

Leaves probably need more than two block spaces to grow; 4-5 should be better

Hook up to some barrels and let it go for a bit. It's possible you're getting wood, but it's disappearing through the Tesseract. It should work fine as is, but it's possible the ones on the left are blocked and so the others are also. Try punching out the saplings there and seeing if the rest grow.

Alternately, a fertilizer can act as bone meal and do so automatically, and grow things that way.

Just noticed that you don't have a fluid pipe on your Harvester. It's not the reason why your trees won't grow, but the Harvester does reduce speed dramatically if the internal tank fills with Sludge. Pipe it out to a Sludge Boiler for some soil type drops (renewable clay is always a bonus) or to a Void Pipe for easy disposal.

If that were my farm, I would allow for better clearance around the outside (large oaks can sprawl a bit) and light the hell out of it (those red X's would concern me, especially that close to a production area). Keep in mind that a sapling needs a light level of at least 8 to grow, and any tree that does grow can block your current lighting, so don't be stingy with those torches. Besides, it only takes one Creeper to bullocks up your whole operation.

Thank you very much for all of your answers!
Actually, trees were growing but so slowly... I talked about that to the server owner's, he made a farm too and trees are also growing very slowly.
This is not a space problem, I tried on the surface and it did not change anything. The tesseract here is just used to bring energy, every blocks/sapling are automatically sorted under the farm and logs move through my ae2 system.
And don't worry about mobs, I actually put an antimob spawner (Magnum Torch).
To enhance my production, I added a fertilizer: I have more than required sulfur, sticks but I gotta make a wheat farm.

And now, it's this farm which doesn't work, actually, I got wheat seeds 10,10,10 from agricraft, I set them on crops but they don't grow even if use bonemeal on them. On the surface, it works properly :s

Ah. Don't bother with a wheat farm. Build a sewer and place it under an animal. A sheep or cow works, and then pump the sewage into a composter. That'll cook down into Industrial Fertilizer for the fertilizer to use.

Trees grow as the result of minecrafts random block ticks.
If the server is running any kind of 'tps' fixer to maintain a consistent tps, these usually work by dropping the processing of schedules tick events once the current ticks allotted time is used up, and can consequently severely slow things down if the server is otherwise struggling.

The first thing to do would be to remove the tps "forcing" mods to get an idea for what the servers natural tps would be, and then figure out and remove the core performance problems.

If your wheat farm is growing fine on the surface but not underground, do make sure you have proper clearance. The Agricraft Crops need a block of open air above them, else they will not grow (even with bonemeal).
