I've moved on from Beta A to the MindCrack pack and while I don't mind leaving the buildings and machines behind I want to keep the resources I have hoarded. Would I have to manually spawn the items in or is there a way to transfer them across all at once? I don't mind correcting the odd ID conflict but I'm hoping I won't have to cheat them in one-by-one.

So why can't you just transfer the map..?
If you put your items you want to keep like the resources in a Regular wooden chest.. If somethings don't convert correctly you will be able to at least keep your items.. No Cheating no nothing..
And most likely anyway if you were using FTB Beta.. You won't have much problems converting the map.. Just move it from the FTBBETA folder to the New Version your using.
You might have some issues with IDmismathes.. but most the stuff.. Most important the resources will come over.

That could work. Assuming MystCraft installs and works fine with the MindCrack pack I could cheat in an age, swap over the old map files, hop into it, move the resources over and job done. I will give it a shot tomorrow, thanks.
glad I could help. We currently have mystcraft working with mindcrack pack, in addition to several other mods, on my server. Not that we're letting anyone make ages bc of lag and memory issues :/ WIP forever...
