For the MFR Bioreactor, use Chickenbones' Translocator and set it to keep inventory 1 stack of each kind.

Alright i did some testing and concluded that its a much harder task than i thought it would be... I am not don thou just making an update. I tried both forestry and mfr biofuel production. I made a simple 2x2x2 boiler with liquid fireboxes and it seems like even so i use water and basic oak saplings one fermenter can produce enough for 2 stills and 1 still is like almost enough to heat that boiler, its just a little short. And it uses not even near as i produce in terms of sapllings. If i can multiply my stills and fermenters an get a nice balance with production/use of saplings, biomass, ethanol and steam, i can power a pretty big turbine. Its kind of boring and frustrating to balance properly on so many levels but its fun in its own way so i will try.
I dont really like the mfr production, i think it can produce just as much as forestry (its kinda hard to measure), but there is another problem. As you all know mfr bioreactor runs more efficiently if it has different kinds of material. And while i am able to provide all 9 there is still a problem... uhm it has a 3x3 buffer and 1x9 working area (i am talking about gui). The problem is that you have to put material (saplings, potatos, seeds, ect) in a buffer and then it will automatically go in the working area, the exact problem is that you cant "lock" slots in buffer area. If i produce more birch saplings than i produce potatos then sooner or later all 9 buffer slots will fill up with birch saplings stacks and when a potato comes it cant go in cos there are no room in buffer area and so potato gets stuck in the chest which is a shame. To me there is a simple fix to it just make it that last item of stack wont go in the working area, just like in railcraft rolling machine, in that case birch saplings would have been converted all the time with periodical efficiency boost when potato finally comes. But in the game it does not happen and last potato in a stack will go in working are and slot will be empty. I can only see 2 solutions. 1. Balance it out so well that all buffer slots will be full but again its hard to do and biofuel producers MUST be the bottleneck in order to work 2. use steve's factory manager but it will be painfully long to program it for each generator. That was my short explanation why i am using ethanol instead of biofuel for the people i dont know and i am not even sure if you give a damn. I love internet. Just kidding, dont worry, guys, you are awesome ;)

As i said normal water and normal saplings produce enough and you can use compost which is easy to make (dirt and wheat) and is also most efficient. I will also try to set up a pam's harvestcraft farm with fruit picker from mfr and use fruit juice instead of water. BTW i can get dirt from sludge boilers and i dont really need much to make enough compost. I will also try to balance it out, because now...

Pretty sure the 3x3 buffer in the Bioreactor won't accept more than one stack of any particular item. I vaguely remember PowerCrystals implementing this a while back to solve precisely the problem you describe.

Also, side note: Last I checked (which was quite a while ago), the Bioreactor will accept any and all dyes and treat them just like potatoes, saplings, or any other kind of plant matter. A nametagged squid in a tank in front of an MFR Rancher, a skeleton farm, a cactus farm, and a bit of autocrafting/smelting should net you six different types of Bioreactable items. Unless that was changed, which is entirely possible.

Another side note: Railcraft has a steam-powered multiblock furnace that smelts nine items at once. Not sure how its efficiency compares to steam engines/dynamos and TE/EnderIO furnaces, but it certainly can do a good job of supplying a charcoal-powered boiler.

I use LP for the supply of the biorector. I have a supplier pipe set to supply 72 items of each type.

Why 72? well, the BC gates can only read the 3x3 buffer slots and I use BC gates to stop the reactor as soon as there is one of the items missing.
You need three gold OR gates, and one peace of red, blue and green pipe wire.
The first gate has conditions "invenory empty<filtered item> -> red pipe signal" for each of the first four items.
The second gate has conditions "invenory empty<filtered item> -> blue pipe signal" for each of the second four items.
The last gate has conditions:
"invenory empty<filtered item> -> green pipe signal" for the last item.
red pipe signal -> redstone signal
blue pipe signal -> redstone signal
green pipe signal -> redstone signal

This makes sure, the reactor always runs on maximum efficiency.

Wood? You don't know what to do with wood?

WELL. Get yourself some Agricraft installed. Then turn all the wood into crops, irrigation systems, etc. And turn your world into a massive farm
