Too much Mutatio

I just built a Wispy Essence farm. I took a Wisp spawner from a Thaumcraft totem platform, surrounded it in a big glass cage, and put 8 Sentry Turrets around it. Water flushes the drops to an Obsidian pipe in the middle and out to a chest.

Sadly, it only spawns one kind of wisp, that drops essence with 1 Animus and 5 Mutatio. So, what can I do with all this Mutatio? Is there an item I can make that uses a lot of it?

whisps are made of whatever excess flux is in the environment. If you dump a lot of mutatio into the atmosphere, your wisps will have a lot of mutatio. The wispy essence can be used in the crucible just like any other item, or I believe you can also mix 8 with a vial? Not sure on that point, may be incorrect.

Yes, actually. there's a rarely-used vanilla multiblock that you can use it for.

Basically, you go out someplace with some space, and start by digging three blocks straight down,

and then you throw that garbage into the hole you dug, and walk away
