Tons of Enchantment Books

Hey guys
So in my FTB world, my cousin and I got a tier 5 Skeleton spawner and made a simple XP mob farm. We took a ton of books and started (level 30) enchanting them. Now we have about half a iron chest full of enchanted books (most of them useless). What can we do with these? Thanks~

Well low-level enchants of the same type can be combined in an anvil to make them better. For example, I think Sharpness II and Sharpness II together would give you Sharpness III or something along those lines. So that might help you with a few of them.

Otherwise, I'm not sure if there are many good uses...
Recycle them?

GT magic energy generator, possibly, or sell them in a server to people. If you're not using all the enchants, discarding the bad ones through turning them into EU is probably your best bet.

I thought combining Books were 1.5.1? And my server is just us 2 (Yes, us loners )
Recycling was my last resort. Just making sure if I could do anything else

Like i said, turn them into EU with Gregtech's magic energy syphon i think it's called? Anyway, don't know if the amount of EU will pay off the cost of the block, however, this is something for you to think about...

I don't think the siphon works on books.

But if your into thuamcraft you can render them down into essences for use later.

not 1.5.1 it's in the game already.

How would I turn them into essences?
Also, @brujon, if you meant the cost of the books, I have like 2 or 3 stacks of them from libraries I found from Villages/MystCraft Ages :3

You could use a renewable resource like wood for wooden swords, right? Then put it in the siphon?

Aqua Affinity doesn't go any higher than level I...
I'm quite confident that it can be done with other enchants though...

I believe the precise name is the Magic Energy Converter.
You do NOT want to use the similarly-named Magic Energy Absorber, though: that one
creates a mess of Flux and eats all the Vis in the area at a stupidly fast speed.
