What is the bug? Modpack version 1.7.0 according to the twitch client:

I'm aware this is potentially disabled due to an old dupe glitch, but Minecarts can't be melted by the smeltery, either carts made from Iron or Steel. The Smeltery was running at a temperature of 1000, enough to melt other iron objects, which melted successfully.

Is it repeatable? Yes, put minecarts into a running smeltery.
