Is anyone else having an insane amount of difficulty finding tin? If not, what is the best way to find it?

Dig around at y-level 40-60. I've had trouble finding tin at all below 30, but around 50 there's plenty of this stuff.
Thanks guys! I'll let you know how it goes. Addendum: yeah, I'm an idiot. they changed the colour of the ore, and I thought it was lead the whole time....You may now return to your mining/building. I'm going to hide in the corner for a week or so... XD
