Summary of the problem TiCon extra modifiers don't work

Pack Version 1.1.3

What is the bug? In all versions, including this one, the recipes to add extra modifiers (Diamond + Gold Block especially, as Notch Apples are no longer craftable) don't work. They just say "Need Modifier" (for the diamond).

Is it repeatable? Create any tool
Attempt to use Diamond + Gold Block in Tool Forge to add a modifier.

That feature was removed in 1.8+

If you must, absolutely must, have this feature "back", no matter how unbalanced it might make the experience... Add the Iguana's Tinker's Tweeks mod. You can use the CFG file of it to make the addons work any way you want them to work.

Warning, it is a LOT of work to customize ITT.

It also doesn't exist for 1.8+

To get extra modifiers install either Tinkers' Tool Leveling or Tinkers' Addons
