So I was messing around with some 1.6.2 mods today and came across a floating island. Everything on it is slime based, including the trees. Its a part of Tinker's Construct. If you hate the sounds of slimes, you are really gonna hate breaking any block in these places.

Just thought I'd share some mod update info. If this is in 1.5.2 I've honestly never come across it ;):p

That makes sense. I was wondering what all the essence crystal trades were for with the villagers

Oh my god... this will make it harder for my enemies to get to me! The only bad thing about this biome is the slimes. But since I'm always short on slime balls, it's perfect! I love you MDiyo.

If you look at the textures in the mod, there's a ton of stuff in there that isn't an ingame object/item yet. Quite a tease.

Seriously thought, I hope the worldgen is put under control, already get overwhelmed with Blue Slimes.

Blue slimes randomly spawn & attack on these islands. They also do spawn EVERYWHERE like Doc stated. This is an added problem since mobs spawn and/or find refuge beneath them. It makes for annoying mid day zombie attacks, which are already horrible now that zombies track you from 2 Biomes away now.

The novelty faded in less than 30 minutes.
 
Omega Dawn server has zombie awareness (and infernal mobs), so it's quite common for 20-50 zombies to be gathering outside our base each night. Not a problem now though, we just tease them onto conveyor belts, and grind them up. In the early days exploration and initial construction was very very dangerous. We fear the night.

Sorry, but i hate to burst your bubble.
mDiyo is going into maintenance mode with TiC, just like Natura, so he wont be coding it but he will still be updating it.
Of course people can stuff do commits on github and add their own content.
