Heya!

Last time i played with TiCo tools i was not able to reach instamine level.
That made me look for alternatives and ended up with IC2 drill and now force drills (the almost instant 3x3x3 is awesome) but i really like TiCo and the balance and progression it adds

Is it possible to reach instamine in later versions? (i dont care if its very expensive, but electrical upgrade is a must)
Im using unleashed 1.1.6

Thanks!

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.

Cobalt head, paper binding, thaumic handle.
Add diamond & goldblock and nether star, then stack in 7 shots of redstone.

Cobalt head, with a stonebound binding/rod and writable/thaumic remaining part.
Wear down to 1 durability then add electric, diamond-gold and nether star, and 5 shots of redstone.

The electric upgrade is horribly broken and really doesn't fit with the mods design- if you respect the balance and progression then choose the former. Otherwise the latter is closest to instamine.

If you want a decent instamine tool- check out the destruction catalyst from X-Reliquary.
If you want balance and progression then avoid instamine tools.
You can't have both.

Also add a Beacon with haste in your mining area with these hammers and you'll obliterate the area
On the topic of Tinkers and Beacons:
I did some testing with rapiers and a beacon set to Haste 2 today... Maaan! 4 hits in a row!
And cleavers hit at normal speed, but somehow the hit still doesn't count. It hits graphically, but it seems to be a hardcoded thing.
